Mt. Shivling 6,543 mtr.

The Mt. Shivling, Elevation of the Peak 6,543 mts.
Coordinates :  30°52′49.48″N & 79°03′48.49″E

Just before this month that is May, I was on my trek, from Gangotri, to Gomukh, Tapovan, Nandanvan & Vasuki Tall. After touching the Tapovan I click this photograph, to show you all how it is beautiful.

It's name refers to its looking status!! as a holy symbol of "Shiva Linga" the God of Hinds. It was called the "Matterhorn Peak" by early European climber & visitors, because of its similarity and it's appearance to, like that Alpine peak (Matterhorn)

Mt. Shivling is a mountain at Tapovan. From the Tapovan you can see the hole peak from top to Bottom. & at the Gangotri Group of peaks lies in the western Garhwal Himalaya, near the snout of the Gangotri Glacier. It lies on the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand, from here far to the south you can found one of the Hindus holy site of named Gaumukh (the source of the Bhagirathi River not Ganges)
